Data, Resources and Learning Styles

Our strong focus on data collection, analysis and illustration will help create connections between our communities, our agencies and our parents. We will actively support all learners by offering methods and ways to absorb information in ways that suit each individual through the learning network.

Some of us (on your facilitator team) are visual learners and others are verbal learners. (It will not take you long to figure out who's who.)

Here is a quick list of Learning Styles, do you identify with one, more than one, or others?

Visual (spatial): You prefer using pictures, images, and spatial understanding.

Aural (auditory-musical): You prefer using sound and music.

Verbal (linguistic): You prefer using words, both in speech and writing.

Physical (kinesthetic): You prefer using your body, hands and sense of touch.

Logical (mathematical): You prefer using logic, reasoning and systems.

Social (interpersonal): You prefer to learn in groups or with other people.

Solitary (intrapersonal): You prefer to work alone and use self-study
